2024 SEMLA Annual Meeting to Proceed as Planned

After assessing the situation following the storm damage from Helene and discussing with our colleagues at Furman University, the SEMLA Board has decided to proceed with the 2024 SEMLA Annual Meeting as planned. We understand some members are still dealing with challenges from the storm, including power outages and travel disruptions, not to mention what disruptions may be expected from Hurricane Milton.

For those needing to adjust their plans, we’re offering the following options:

  1. In-person attendees may switch to virtual registration for $20, with the difference refunded.
  2. Full refunds will be issued for cancellations, both in-person and virtual.
  3. Full refunds will also be provided for the Music in Libraries preconference cancellations.

To change or cancel your registration, please contact SEMLA’s Secretary/Treasurer, Amanda Scott. To assist Amanda with this process and the Local Arrangements Committee with their preparations, please contact Amanda no later than Monday, October 14.
